Scam warning: Notice of fraudulent pyramid scheme in India
This scam notification is being issued on 30 July 2024 and the warning herein will remain in place until further notice.
घोटाले से संबंधित यह नोटिफ़िकेशन 30 जुलाई, 2024 को जारी किया जा रहा है और इसमें दी गई चेतावनी अगले नोटिस तक लागू रहेगी।
यह नोटिस Volcafe की ओर से एक ऐसे घोटाले के बारे में लोगों को चेतावनी देने के लिए जारी किया जा रहा है जो हमारी कंपनी के नाम से चल रहा है और जो किसी भी तरह से हमारे व्यवसाय से संबंधित नहीं है।
हमें भारत में उपभोक्ताओं को लक्षित करने वाले तथाकथित ‘मल्टी-लेवल मार्केटिंग’ मॉडल्स के बारे में पता चला है। सबूतों के मुताबिक, ये मॉडल पिरामिड स्कीमों के अलावा और कुछ नहीं हैं और इन्हें इस तरह से डिज़ाइन किया गया है कि स्कीम के आयोजक नए सदस्यों के पैसे हड़प सकें। कभी-कभी इन स्कीमों में Volcafe के ब्रांड, लोगो, रंग, तस्वीरें आदि प्रदर्शित की जाती हैं, ताकि ऐसा लगे कि ये स्कीमें हमारी कंपनी से संबंधित हैं।
Volcafe और इसकी मूल कंपनी ED&F Man Commodities का इन स्कीमों से कोई लेना-देना 'नहीं' है।
हम यह भी पुष्टि करते हैं कि Volcafe इस तरीके से ट्रेड या व्यवसाय नहीं करता है और न ही करेगा और हमारी कंपनी उपभोक्ताओं से ऐसी किसी भी स्कीम के माध्यम से निवेश करने या हमसे संपर्क करने का अनुरोध कभी नहीं करेगी।
Volcafe की ओर से इसके नाम और ब्रांड के दुरुपयोग को रोकने के लिए उचित कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है, लेकिन कुछ घोटालेबाज़ थोड़े अलग नामों और ग्राफ़िक्स का इस्तेमाल करके घोटाला करते रहते हैं।
इन स्कीमों द्वारा उपयोग किए जा रहे नामों और वेबसाइटों के उदाहरण नीचे दिए गए हैं। जैसे ही हमारे सामने ऐसे और उदाहरण आएँगे, हम इस सूची को अपडेट करने की कोशिश करेंगे। यह सूची यहीं खत्म नहीं होती है और इसमें और नाम जुड़ सकते हैं:

Volcafe is issuing this notice to warn members of the public about a scam that impersonates our company, which is not related to our business in any way.
We have become aware of so-called ‘multi-level marketing’ models targeting consumers in India, which evidence suggests are little more than pyramid schemes designed to allow the schemes’ organisers to pocket new members’ funds. These schemes have sometimes displayed elements of Volcafe’s brand, logo, colours, images, etc, to create the false impression of being related to our company.
Volcafe and its parent company ED&F Man Commodities are NOT affiliated with these schemes.
We also confirm that Volcafe does not, and will not, trade or do business in that way and our company will never request consumers to invest in or contact us via any such schemes.
Volcafe is taking appropriate legal action to prevent the misuse of its name and brand, but some scams persist using slightly different names and graphics.
Examples of the names and websites being used by these schemes are set out below and, whilst we will try to update this list as we become aware of other examples, this is not an exhaustive list:

Please exercise EXTREME CAUTION to avoid being a victim of these scams. You are likely to lose any money you ‘invest’ in these fraudulent schemes.
