Brazil is the world's largest coffee producer, and Volcafe Brazil brings the variety of Brazilian Arabica and Conilon (Robusta) coffees to clients around the world.
Founded 1955
And part of Volcafe's 170+ year history.
Volcafe Brazil has warehousing and processing operations in all major producing regions, enabling customers to access a complete quality portfolio that allows for bespoke solutions and preparations. The strategic placement of our operations also allows us access to 97 and 75 percent, respectively, of the entire production of Arabica and Conilon in Brazil.
Our sustainability work through Volcafe RS offers traceable coffee from partners all around the country. With these efforts we foster regenerative practices and carbon initiatives, as well as working on tailor-made sustainable supply chain management solutions for our customers around the world. Our work with coffee producers also follows the guidelines and conditions required by the main certification schemes, such as 4C and Rainforest Alliance, as well as verification systems, such as C.A.F.E. Practices and Nespresso AAA.
We financially support and participate in several environmental projects in producing regions and the main Brazilian biomes, Cerrado and the Amazon, focused on agroforestry and reforestation, regenerative practices, and water resources management, such as our work with Consórcio Cerrado das Águas, CATIE (the Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center), and IDESAM (Apuí Emergency Fund of the Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of the Amazon).
We also dedicate our efforts towards evaluating and reducing our carbon footprint. In 2021, Volcafe Brazil and our partner cooperative monteCCer were responsible for the first purchase and exportation of carbon-neutral coffee in Brazil.

We believe in instilling responsible citizenship through the guarantee of education and, consequently, a better future. Thus, alongside our partners Dutch Bros Coffee, whose foundation financially supported the project, and Bela Vista Coffee, who granted part of their property, Volcafe Brazil organised the construction of a sports court for the students of Escola Estadual da Fazenda Bela Vista, a school for our employees' children and the surrounding community in Nepomuceno, Minas Gerais.
Volcafe Brazil has also collaborated with Starbucks Brazil to provide furniture and laptops to one of our partner cooperatives, COOPASV, to promote technology-based training for coffee producers to further improve their operations, such as cost control and traceability.
